The Thermapen IR Blue infrared Bluetooth thermometer combines the latest Bluetooth wireless technology with the versatility of the Thermapen IR. Switch easily between surface and internal temperature measurements and transfer data wirelessly to your device for reliable, paperless backup.

Infrared features

The Thermapen IR Blue Bluetooth infrared thermometer with probe has a 5:1 distance to spot ratio, so the thermometer should be placed as close to the target as possible for accurate readings. The default emissivity is 0.95, but this can be adjusted between 0.1 and 1.0.

Probe features

Carry out fast and reliable health and safety checks with the Thermapen Bluetooth infrared thermometer. With a high accuracy of ±0.4 °C, the Thermapen IR Blue measures internal temperatures in just three seconds. A FREE traceable calibration certificate is also included, giving you confidence in the accuracy of your readings.

The thermometer features a patented, automatic 360° rotating display and motion-sensing sleep mode when the penetration probe remains open. This automatically turns the instrument on and off when put down or picked up, maximising battery life.

Custom software available

A Software Development Kit (SDK) is available on request, allowing integrators to write custom apps to communicate with the Thermapen IR Blue.

Please note: New display functions are only available when using the latest Software Development Kit. BLE 5.0 thermometers have a range of 50 metres, depending on the make and model of the user's smart device. Environmental conditions can also affect signal strength.
