Thermapen® IR | Infrared and air probe

The Thermapen IR Air is two instruments in one compact unit, combining the advanced technology of two products designed and manufactured by ETI: the RayTemp 2 Plus infrared thermometer and the Thermapen digital air probe thermometer. The fast-responding air probe is an indispensable tool for quickly determining the correct air temperature in HVAC systems, laboratories, and other temperature-sensitive work environments.

The Thermapen IR Air is housed in a durable ABS casing with Biomaster product protection, which inhibits bacterial growth. The sleep mode (air probe only) features a motion sensor that automatically turns the device on and off when it is set down or picked up, thereby maximizing battery life.

Infrared Thermometer Simply point the infrared thermometer at the object and press the scan button to display the surface temperature. Note: The non-contact infrared function only works when the probe is closed.

The Thermapen IR Air thermometer has a maximum/minimum temperature function that can be accessed via the mode button (IR only). The distance-to-object ratio is 5:1, so the thermometer should be placed as close to the object as possible. The default emissivity is 0.95, but can be adjusted between 0.1 and 1.0 using the mode button if necessary.

Air Probe
The fast-response air probe is designed for use in HVAC systems, laboratories, and other temperature-sensitive work environments. When not in use, the probe can be easily folded 180° into the side of the instrument.
