Thermapen® IR | Infrared & Air probe

The Thermapen IR Air is two instruments in one compact unit, combining the advanced technology of two ETI designed and manufactured products: the RayTemp 2 Plus infrared thermometer and the Thermapen digital air probe thermometer. The fast-responding air probe is an indispensable tool for quickly determining the correct air temperature in HVAC systems, laboratories, and other temperature-sensitive working environments.

The Thermapen IR Air is housed in a robust ABS casing with Biomaster product protection, which inhibits bacterial growth. The sleep mode (air probe only) features a motion sensor that automatically switches the instrument on and off when it is put down or picked up, maximizing battery life.

Infrared thermometer
Simply point the infrared thermometer at the object and press the scan button to display the surface temperature. Please note: the non-contact infrared function only measures when the probe is closed.

The Thermapen IR Air thermometer has a maximum/minimum temperature function accessible via the mode button (IR only). The distance to the object is 5:1, so the thermometer should be placed as close as possible to the object. The standard emissivity is 0.95, but can be adjusted between 0.1 and 1.0 via the mode button if necessary.

Air probe
The fast-responding air probe is designed for use in HVAC systems, laboratories, and other temperature-sensitive working environments. The probe, when not in use, can be easily folded 180° into the side of the instrument.
