Battery Life Guidelines

With RFX, you can determine how often temperature measurements are sent to your device: every 1.0 °C/F, 1.5 °C/F or 3.0 °C/F. The larger the interval, the longer the battery life.

Below are our recommendations, depending on your cooking time:

Short cooking times (less than 5 hours) – 1.0 °C/F intervals

Medium cooking times (5-15 hours) – 1.5 °C/F intervals

Long cooking times (15-65 hours) – 3.0 °C/F intervals

We recommend following these guidelines to ensure your battery lasts the entire cooking time.
