With RFX, you can choose how often the device transmits temperature readings: every 1.0 °C/F, 1.5 °C/F, or 3.0 °C/F. The larger the interval, the longer the battery life.

Below are our recommendations, depending on your cooking time:

Short cooking times (less than 5 hours) – 1.0 °C/F intervals
Medium cooking times (5-15 hours) – 1.5 °C/F intervals
Long cooking times (15-65 hours) – 3.0 °C/F intervals

We recommend following these guidelines to ensure the battery lasts for the entire cooking time.
