Battery Life Guidelines

RFX allows you to choose how often temperature readings are sent to your device: every 1.0 °C/F, 1.5 °C/F, or 3.0 °C/F. The larger the interval, the longer the battery will last.

Here's what we recommend based on your cooking time:

Short cooks (less than 5 hours) – 1.0 °C/F intervals

Medium cooks (5-15 hours) – 1.5 °C/F intervals

Long cooks (15-65 hours) – 3.0 °C/F intervals

We recommend following these guidelines to ensure the battery lasts for the entire cooking time.
